Purchasing & logistics
In progress
In short
Section titled “In short”The tab that holds product data your shop does not know: minimum stock, customs description, English name and purchasing details.
Until 22 August 2026 the tab was called Catalog and had its own menu entry. It became a tab of Products because this is an extension of the product card, not a separate area. No data was deleted.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Where to find it: Operations → Stock | Products → Products → Purchasing & logistics
- Minimum stock — below this number the product is flagged as running low and appears in Purchase planning.
- Customs description — the text printed on the customs declaration for shipments outside the EU.
- English name — used by search and the assistant catalogue skill. It does not go on the customs declaration.
- HS code, PLU code, category, purchase price.
Fields your shop does not provide say so — a sync from the shop will not overwrite or clear them.
Why this screen is a bulk view
Section titled “Why this screen is a bulk view”Internal fields can also be set with bulk edit in the Products list: tick the products, choose Bulk edit and add the Minimum stock, Customs description or English name field. Internal fields are written once regardless of the selected stores (the store cannot see them) and the whole batch can be undone with one click in Product changes — just like card fields.
The product detail works on one product at a time. Here you see the whole assortment in one table. Add an item with Add item; the code must match the product code in your shop.
Purchase and sale prices are visible only to the manager and administrator.
