Connecting a store

Verified

Stores are connected in System → Settings → Connected stores. Without a connected store the application has nowhere to read products, stock or orders from, so this is the first step after creating an account. Several stores can be connected at once and are switched in the top bar.

Platform Status
Shoptet available
Shopify coming soon
WooCommerce coming soon
PrestaShop coming soon

Platforms marked coming soon are visible in the list but cannot be connected yet. If you need one of them, contact support — the order of work follows what most people ask for.

After choosing a platform you choose the method. If only one route is available, the step is skipped.

Nothing is copied or generated.

  1. Open the add-on marketplace in your store administration.
  2. Find the MitoOps add-on and click Install.
  3. Return to the application — the store appears in the list by itself within a few seconds.

Access stays under your control: uninstalling the add-on breaks the connection. Orders, documents and stock are not deleted.

This route is always available, even if you cannot or prefer not to install add-ons.

  1. Generate an API token in your store administration. Each platform has a Vendor guide link in the application pointing straight at its documentation.
  2. Paste the token into the form and save.

The token is stored encrypted and is never shown again — keep your own copy.

  • Store name (required) — the name you will see in the switcher and in settings. With two stores in the same country it is the only thing that tells them apart.
  • Market — the store’s country. It drives the flag in the switcher and the carriers on offer. It cannot be changed after saving, because it is the store’s internal key in stock movements and orders. Decide it carefully up front.
  • Content language — the language the product texts are written in.

On first contact the application downloads products, stock levels and orders. Until the first synchronisation finishes, the Dashboard and Warehouse may show incomplete figures. This is normal and nothing needs repeating.

Each store shows a connection status:

Status Meaning
Connected The connection works and has been verified.
Connected – unverified Credentials are saved but the connection has not been tested. Use Test connection.
Connection error The store does not respond or refuses access.
Not connected No connection exists yet.
Access expires in N days / Access expired The token has a limited lifetime and must be replaced.

Each store offers Test connection, Replace access and Disconnect. Where it says Not synchronised yet, the connection exists but no data has arrived.

Any number of stores can be connected. The switcher in the top bar decides whose data you are looking at and applies across the whole application — Dashboard, Warehouse, Fulfillment and Finance.

To keep the same stock level across several stores, use the dedicated Stock sync screen rather than the connection itself.

  • I pasted the token but it reports a connection error. Check that the token was generated for the right store and is not missing a permission in its administration, then use Test connection.
  • I lost the token. It cannot be displayed again. Generate a new one in the store and use Replace access.
  • I chose the wrong market. The market cannot be changed after saving. Create a new connection with the correct market and disconnect the old one.
  • I uninstalled the add-on and the store disappeared. That is expected — uninstalling breaks the connection. Your data remains; simply install the add-on again.
  • Stock has not synchronised for a long time. Open Sync diagnostics to see when the last synchronisation ran and what is blocking it.
