AI credits

Verified

An AI credit is the unit that pays for the work of the AI modules. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance and all AI modules draw from one shared wallet — you buy one pack, not three. Your balance and usage are shown in Automation → AI centre → Overview.

Credits are spent by the three modules you can activate:

  • Internal assistant — works with your data and tools,
  • Web chatbot — answers customers on your public site,
  • AI copywriter — writes and translates shop content.

Each module is switched on and off separately in the AI centre and any combination can be used. Switching a module off deletes nothing — credits, settings and history remain.

The in-app helper (the “Ask AI” panel next to the guides) does not spend credits — it is part of product support and runs at the operator’s expense.

The price of a message depends on the model the module uses — a cheaper model costs fewer credits, a stronger one more. The model price list (credits per message) is shown directly in the AI centre when choosing a model; the rate is the same for every customer.

In addition:

  • different operations (chat, translation, product description) may carry different weights — the breakdown sits next to the model price list,
  • a normal-length message is billed as one; exceptionally long inputs or outputs (for example a very long description with a large knowledge base) count as several messages,
  • not billed: failed calls, repeating the same operation (double-click), and the first brand-profile prefill when activating the copywriter.

Monthly plan credits do not carry over to the next month. They are always spent first — before any purchased credits.

When the monthly allowance is not enough, buy a credit pack in the app on the billing screen (Settings → Billing). Ordering creates an invoice; the credits are added once it is paid.

Purchased credits are valid for 12 months and are spent only after the monthly allowance is used up; among purchased packs the one expiring soonest is spent first. The current packs and prices are listed in the pricing and on the billing screen.

When credits are exhausted, the AI modules stop answering and the app says so directly in the reply — including your balance and the price of the operation. Nothing is lost: after buying a pack or with the next monthly allowance the modules continue. The rest of the app (orders, stock, dispatch) keeps running — credits only concern the AI modules.

Each AI module can be connected to your own AI provider account (for example OpenAI or Anthropic). You then pay usage directly to the provider and nothing is deducted from your credits — within MitoOps only the module licence is billed. Without your own key the module runs on the system key and usage comes out of your plan’s credits.
