What it does

Main store
Section titled “Main store”If you have one store connected, it is the main one automatically and there is nothing to set.
With two or more, you pick the main store above the list. The choice is stored permanently and can be changed at any time.
The main store is the source of the default shared values. The default e-mail sender is its identity directly — name, address and sending domain; see E-mails. It is not a hard link, though: every store can switch on its own settings, and a filled-in value of its own always wins.
Changing the main store overwrites nothing. Per-store settings stay, and no signing keys or verified domains are deleted. Only what was being inherited from the default changes. If that would change the default sending domain, the app asks first.
